Materials for MoG

A behind-the-scenes look into the custom development process with AX® Materials

From the MoG Development Team:

“In our search for the best performing materials for our MoG Target range, especially for the palm of hand, Masters of Gloves quickly turned to AX® Materials to find out if some co-development could be set up. This resulted in the origins of the ArmaSuede and DexSuede fabrics. After more than a year of development and field testing by a lot of dedicated users active in military service and law enforcement, we are more than happy with the final results.

The MoG Target prototypes using ArmaSuede and DexSuede were deployed in both cold and hot areas in a wide variety of situations, including tactical training with handguns and machine guns, rappelling and the installation of tourniquets. These field tests yielded the ideal feedback on how the materials perform in often extreme conditions.

Both suedes proved to be exactly what was expected from a tactical glove that wants to excel in excellent tactility, outstanding durability and high wearing comfort. The lightweight and supple DexSuede allows a very snug finger construction enabling extreme finger sensitivity. The high friction during weapon handling or other tactical operations is countered perfectly by the ArmaSuede. And the reinforcements in the gloves with the same suede increase both the lifespan and functional precision, without affecting dexterity.”
