Join AX Materials at the A+A Trade Fair from November 4-6, 2025 in Düsseldorf, Germany. This fair focuses on workplace safety and health, showcasing new products and technologies that are designed to improve employee safety and well-being.
At AX Materials, we develop task-specific glove materials that provide critical safety, comfort, and durability. Our range of specialized materials is used for personal protective equipment (PPE) across various industries, including construction, oil and gas, utilities, mining, fire safety, law enforcement, manufacturing, and more.
Since many occupational groups in the workforce have specific requirements for gloves (think firefighters, electricians, construction workers, etc.), we work closely with glove designers and developers to ensure our materials meet the benchmarks needed.
Our protective materials undergo strict third-party testing, including EN388 Abrasion/Tear and ANSI Abrasion, to demonstrate their ability to withstand wear, tear, and abrasion.
Glove Materials for Workplace Safety
Antoine Ravnich and Matt Pennington from the AX Materials team will be walking the event with catalogs, material samples, and technical resources. We compiled a selection of materials best suited for health and safety applications and will be showcasing these on-site.
Some of these highlights include AX Rivolta, our core workwear material available in various thicknesses and performance options. Another is GripPlus RPET + Connect, which emphasizes grip, abrasion resistance, and sustainability features. Antoine Ravnich
Antoine is an industrial engineer who’s been operating in the footwear and apparel industry for 20 years. He’s held multiple development, procurement, and sales positions throughout Europe and Asia. Based in Western France, Antoine’s technical approach to products is guided by his experience and dedication to finding the right solutions for his customers.
Antoine will be attending A+A from November 4-6
Matt Pennington
Matt has been working in synthetic and textile material technologies for 15+ years, focusing on footwear and gloves. He is passionate about material innovation and creating products that perform better for customers with a reduced environmental impact. In addition to serving as president, he also manages all accounts for our North American brands.
