Glove Materials Built to Protect
The Industry Standard for Safety and Protection
Designed to meet task-specific needs, our glove materials deliver critical safety, comfort, and durability while maintaining the highest standards for hand protection.
From patent-pending fire and cut resistance to the highest abrasion-resistant palm suede on the market, this collection is engineered to withstand the rigors of the most demanding environments. We combined advanced material technology with proprietary chemistry to create gloves that outlast, outperform, and get the job done right.

Third-Party Testing
With this protective range, we’ve taken third-party testing to the next level. Every material undergoes strict testing, including EN388 Abrasion/Tear and ANSI Abrasion at a minimum.

TESTED. TRUSTED. PROVEN.
The EN388 and ANSI tests we use are industry standards completed by independent labs. They demonstrate how well our materials resist wear, tear, and abrasion.
Having the right personal protective equipment (PPE) is paramount in fields such as tactical, work, firefighting, mining, and rescue operations. We aim to empower our customers with glove materials that meet the highest benchmarks and are tested, trusted, and proven to protect.

FIRE RESISTANCE
When it comes to emergency responders, welders, tactical professionals, law enforcement, and workers in manufacturing settings, the risk of high heat and open flames poses a serious danger. Materials like AX Medora™ FR are designed for this challenge.
Medora™ combines inherently fire-resistant components, such as a natural cotton base and Bio-PU content, with proprietary FR chemistry. The result is a thinner, lighter material that enhances dexterity and comfort without compromising fire resistance.
The Making of MEDORA™

COLD WEATHER PERFORMANCE
Materials made for extreme cold weather performance must withstand frigid temperatures while maintaining flexibility and providing essential protection.
AX SubZero has a special TPEE rubber coating that stays strong and flexible down to -30°C/-22°F without cracking or peeling. It also resists abrasion and repels water, oil, and chemicals in a flash, making it perfect for settings where harsh elements and hazardous substances are present. As a bonus, it can be used in gloves for cold-weather activities like skiing, snowboarding, and hiking.

CUT RESISTANCE
In industrial and construction environments where contact with sharp tools, machinery, or broken glass is unavoidable, cut-resistant materials like AX Cutora™ are the smartest choice for palm and finger protection.
Through a high-strength lamination process, Cutora™ binds a palm suede and cut textile into a 2-in-1 packaged solution that won’t compromise dexterity. This unique combination prevents injuries while enabling the fine motor control workers need on-site.

ALL-WEATHER GRIP
Our grip materials rise to the occasion when combating wet, oily, and dry conditions. As the trusted choice for roughnecks and industrial workers alike, materials like AX G-Series and AX GripPlus RPET offer an unyielding grip that won’t back down.
Whether it’s rain, snow, mud, or oil, these materials maintain superior traction, quick drying properties, and proven durability. Their versatile features also make them suitable for multiple industries, and are a go-to choice for skiers, snowboarders, and outdoor enthusiasts.

ABRASION RESISTANCE
Workers rely on our high-abrasion materials for industrial tasks across the board. These materials are designed to handle repeated wear and are preferred by pros who encounter rough surfaces and heavy-duty tools daily.
Using specialty high-density yarns combined with other ‘workhorse fibers’ in a custom knitting process, we achieved the perfect mix of strength, softness, and dexterity to develop materials like AX 10W. These features help prevent constant abrasion from ropes, cables, and other equipment, ensuring gloves don’t fail when protection is needed most.
